My name is Anahita Ejtehadi, and I’m an artist whose work is shaped by a bit of a winding path through different cultures and careers. I was born in Tehran, Iran, in 1992. I am currently in Germany and working on my collections of painting to start exhibiting.

The Echoes beneath the Rubble

As Iran is going through the war, the artist revisits older drawings and transforms them through layers of paint, creating compositions that feel both renewed and haunted by what lies beneath.

Rage in Silence is a series of self portraits confronts the psychic weight of the massacre in Iran happened on January 2026.

In this series, the artist reflects on loneliness as one of the deepest struggles experienced after moving to Germany. Separated from familiar people and surroundings, the artist found companionship in everyday objects that quietly filled the void.
